Altar Guild: 

The Messiah New Hope Altar Guild was organized to be responsible for the care and upkeep of the Chancel area.  Altar Guild members work behind the scenes, and duties consist of keeping the area clean and organized.  Members are all responsible for preparing Communion and cleaning afterward.  Altar Guild members also set up for baptisms and put up the Christmas tree and trimmings.

The Guild members feel it is a privilege to serve.  It is an opportunity to serve our Lord as we serve our Christian friends.

The Altar Guild sets up the yearly schedule in a way that allows two people to serve each month.  Each member signs up for two months at a time.  The Altar Guild is currently short on members, and certainly welcome anyone who would like to join us.  If you are uncertain, come and visit a meeting and check it out, or contact Joyce Lunstra at 339-2989.  The Altar Guild meets at the church on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
