• GIVING

A committee structure has been created at MNH and 12 new committees have emerged. Through these committees, congregational members and participants have begun the tasks of furthering the mission at MNH. These committees will be wrestling with many issues and objectives over the coming year. If there is an interest or resource that would benefit the church community, please call the office or a committee member and come on board!

Building & Grounds
Building & Grounds has the formidable task of establishing policies and procedures for the safe and optimal usage of the newly expanded facility. 

Communications / Advertising
Internal and external signage is one of the responsibilities of the Communications and Advertising Committee.

Community Life
This committee plans events that build community within the congregation and provide an outreach tool for members of the church to invite and include people from outside the church. Committee members began researching local churches to find out how they use their multi-purpose rooms.

Education
This committee oversees the basic educational ministry of the congregation. Working groups within the Messiah New Hope community have been identified as Children’s Education, Confirmation Ministry, High School Ministry, and Post-high and Adult Education.

Finance
The Finance Committee plans, reviews and evaluates the church’s financial resources and makes recommendations to the Governing Board.

Growth & Care
This committee helps those who are going through transition or crisis.  This includes new member ministry.

Leadership
The committee recognizes and equips existing leaders as well as identify and train potential leaders. A key direction of this committee is to support the other committees with prayer, organizational support, problem solving, brainstorming and other needs as identified.

Pastoral Support & Review
This committee supports the pastors in their work, making sure they are receiving everything needed to make their job, and the church, the best it can be.

Relational Groups
The Relational Groups committee is spearheading the formation of small groups. These small groups will provide an atmosphere of intimate, caring growth for all members of our community.

Stewardship
This committee oversees the annual fund appeal and plans the capital appeals of the congregation. The committee ensures that an effective means of identifying member’s talents and interests is in place and are utilized fully. The committee’s goal is to help church members become better stewards.

Welcome & Hospitality
The Welcome Committee is eager to make all who come to our church feel cherished. To accomplish this, they have called together a group of people who have the ability to make people feel loved and wanted and have begun providing them with the resources and tools they need to be front line ambassadors for the church community.

Worship
This committee oversees the worship life of the congregation. It works closely with pastors and worship directors to plan worship, ensure quality and address concerns as they arise. This committee meets the third Tuesday of each month.  This meeting is open to all who are interest in the worship experiences at Messiah New Hope.
