Choir

The Messiah New Hope Choir welcomes anyone with an interest in singing and fellowship.  We meet Wednesday nights at 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. from September to May and generally sing in church once a month.   The style of music varies greatly, and include anything from gospel to traditional hymns to contemporary praise songs.

Special services that the choir sings for are Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Easter and the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.  The choir participates in at least two Outreach ministries every year.  Past activities have included singing at St. Dysmas (Prison Ministry), Christmas caroling at nursing homes and the VA Hospital, and serving at the Banquet.

Approximately 40 members, of all ages, currently participate in choir and new members are always needed.
